3 Ways to make cardio fun!

Do you enjoy your cardio? If you feel the same way I do about it then you don't! If I have to be honest than I must say that cardio can be quite boring sometimes. Unfortunately not everybody enjoys cardio. Sometimes cardio can feel long and repetitive.

Cardio is an essential part of being healthy and fit, so if we want to look and feel our best then it has to be a part of our fitness program. Remember, our heart is a muscle so we have to exercise each and every muscle that our body has if we want to be balanced.

So what's the solution then for boring cardio like walking on a treadmill staring at the timer waiting for the punishment to end? Being inside of a gym on a piece of cardio equipment can easily get stale. We have to think outside the box and make it enjoyable. This is how we stay consistent on it and keep our body fat at reasonable levels.

  • HERE ARE 3 THINGS YOU CAN DO TO MAKE IT FUN!

  1. GET OUTSIDE

Change things up a bit and get outside! Challenge yourself with something like running, bike riding, or learning something new like skateboarding, tennis or boxing. Think outside the box!

2.GET A HEART RATE MONITOR

By using a heart rate monitor you can have more fun by challenging yourself and using different heart rate zones. Focusing on your heart rate distracts you and helps you to focus on how long you're doing cardio etc.

3.HIIT TRAINING

High intensity interval training! This is an amazing way to really get your heart rate up and burn so many calories. You will be using multiple hear rate zones. This is very effective and its a good way to get you out of the normal routine.

So the next time you don't feel like doing cardio, then switch it up to help keep you motivated. Don't skip it, just change it up. Remember that doing cardio is an absolute must when it comes to fitness and taking care of yourself . Theres so many different option for this so be creative and get to it!
